Maria Eugenia is Financial Advisor to the Board of Directors at Asterion Industrial Partners with more than 20 years of experience in Investment Banking.
Prior to joining AIP she was Senior Corporate Banker in BNP Paribas and previously Corporate Finance Director, with focus in M&A and ECM markets.
She has a Bachelor in Business Administration by Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and post graduate education, a PDG by IESE-Universidad de Navarra and Promociona by ESADE Business School.

Ibrahin is an analyst at Asterion Industrial Partners and joined in 2024. He has 4 years of experience in the financial services industry, in Audit and Assurance services department.

Prior to joining AIP he was Senior Auditor in the Financial and Banking department at PwC Madrid. Ibrahin holds a Master’s degree in Auditing and Accounting by CUNEF and a Bachelor in Business Administration by the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Candela is a Compliance Analyst at Asterion. Before joining AIP, she worked for two years in EY as a Financial Crime Consultant, within the Financial Services Operations Department.

She started her career as an intern in DPO & it law, after which she joined Up Aganea as a Junior Compliance Officer.

Candela holds a Master of Laws (LLM) by the Universidad Europea de Madrid and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law by the Universidad of Santiago de Compostela.

Sergio joined Asterion Industrial Partners in September 2024, bringing with him 25 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors, as well as a strong background in corporate development and finance.

Prior to Asterion, Sergio served as CEO of Renewables Europe at Engie, where he managed a portfolio of over 15 GW of capacity across Europe and led the annual deployment of 1 GW of solar and wind energy capacity as well as a material improvement in operational efficiencies. Before this role, he served as Deputy CFO, where he oversaw Corporate Development, Corporate Finance, Energy Risks and Financial Communication. During this time, he led a series of divestment programs totalling €30 billion, including exits from coal, LNG, and E&P activities. He also gained significant expertise in cross-border M&A and corporate development, successfully executing numerous transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Throughout his career, Sergio has executed over 200 transactions worldwide and has held various board positions in energy and trading companies.

Sergio holds an MSc in Management and Finance from the University of Nottingham and the University of Zaragoza.

Stéphane has 25 years of experience in the environmental services and utilities industry.

As shareholder and CEO of Proxiserve for 15 years, he turned around a loss-making company into a profitable French leader in sub-metering and energy services. Partnering with Asterion Industrial Partners from 2019, he sold his remaining shares of the company, alongside with Asterion, in 2022.

Holly is an Analyst at Asterion Industrial Partners and joined the firm in 2024. She has three years of experience in the finance and energy sector focused primarily within North America. Prior to AIP, she worked for two years as an investment banker at CIBC within their Energy, Infrastructure and Transition team and began her career as a consultant at Accenture developing corporate and financial strategy for power & utility companies.

Holly is a Canadian national and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University, with an exchange term at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Blanca is an Analyst at Asterion Industrial Partners and joined in 2024. She has 5 years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining AIP, Blanca worked at Lazard in Madrid focused on Energy and Renewables.
Blanca holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE).

Silke is a Partner and Head of the Portfolio Management Committee and member of the Investment Committee at Asterion Industrial Partners, having joined in May 2020 as Head of PMC. Silke brings to the team 26 years of investment and asset management experience, of which 7 years of overlapping experience with Asterion’s founding partners.

Silke was formerly part of KKR’s European Private Equity Team in London, where she spent 16 years. During her tenure she served as the Head of the European Industrials Team. Prior to joining KKR, she started her career with Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt. She has served as an independent board member of several listed and unlisted companies, in addition to her extensive board experience during her time at KKR. Silke holds an MBA from University of St. Gallen and a Master of Community of European Business Schools (CEMS) from École des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC), Paris.

Lamine is an Analyst at Asterion and joined the firm in 2024. Prior to Asterion, he worked for 3 years as an investment banker at Citi in London, focusing on Technology, Media and Telecoms across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Previously, he worked at Citi in Zurich, Switzerland focusing on Swiss M&A country coverage across all industries.

Lamine holds a Bachelor in Banking & Finance and studied at the University of Zurich and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

He is an Austrian national and speaks fluent English and German.

Philip is an Industrial Advisory Board Member at Asterion Industrial Partners. He has 20 years of experience in the European financial services industry, 16 of which as an investor. He is the founder of Moonlake Capital, an investment firm based in Austria with a focus on mid-market private equity investments.

Previously, he spent 9 years at KKR as a member of the European private equity and infrastructure teams, working together with Asterion’s founding partners. He began his career in investment banking at JPMorgan. Philip holds a diploma in business administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany.

Adriana is a Communications Director at Asterion Industrial Partners. She joined the team in 2024 with more than 25 years of experience in financial communications, especially in the private equity sector, having previously worked in firms such as Altamar, Mercapital or A&G Banca Privada as head of their Public Relations and Communications departments.

Before joining AIP, Adriana has been responsible for internal and external communications for several private equity funds and financial services companies.

She holds a degree in Journalism from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, an Advanced Course in Business Management from Instituto de Empresa (IE) and an Advanced Course in Foundation Management from CEU.

Adriana is Director of the Spanish Foster Care Association and volunteer in a foster care center since 2017.

Macarena is an Executive Assistant at Asterion Industrial Partners with 12 years of experience and responsible for the office management.

Prior joining AIP, Macarena was Marketing Analyst at Credicorp Capital in Chile for c. 4 years and formerly Executive Assistant at Deloitte Chile.

Macarena started her career as Marketing Assistant at multimedia Spanish company Unidad Editorial. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a Master in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets by Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB) in Madrid and a Professional Certificate in Marketing by the London School of Marketing (LSM).

Dovile is an Executive Assistant at Asterion Industrial Partners with 6 years of experience and responsible for the office management.

Prior joining AIP, Dovile was an executive secretary and HR specialist in Solarig Global Services S.A. for the past 4 years.

He was part of the Infrastructure Direct Investments group and focused on energy & utilities, transportation and telecommunications. He started his career as an Analyst within Citigroup’s Investment Banking Division in London focusing on UK M&A. Eduardo has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor in Business Administration by the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid.

Kate-Lynn is a Principal at Asterion Industrial Partners. She has over 8 years of experience in the financial services industry, both in investment banking and on the investment side, including 2 years of energy and infrastructure investing experience.

Before joining AIP, she was a senior associate at HarbourVest Partners in Toronto focused on investment activities in the real assets space (energy & infrastructure). Prior thereto, she worked in the Investment Banking division of Scotiabank, first covering energy in both Calgary and London before moving to the global M&A team (based in Toronto). She started her career at a Canadian advisory boutique, focusing on energy.

Kate-Lynn is a Canadian national and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance concentration) from the University of Calgary.

Alfredo is a Principal at Asterion Industrial Partners. He has 8 years of experience in the financial services industry, both in Audit and Assurance services and Finance (Operations) departments.

Prior to joining AIP he was Senior Auditor in the Private Equity and Real Estate department at EY Luxembourg. He started his career at EY Madrid, also in Audit Services. Laia is an Associate at Asterion Industrial Partners and joined in 2022. Before joining AIP she worked for 4 years as a Sustainability Consultant at PwC where she focused on ESG strategy and responsible investment advisory projects.

During her time at PwC Laia worked with several investment funds designing and implementing ESG and Responsible Investment frameworks through their investment process. She developed Sustainability strategies for large companies in the telecommunications, pharmaceutical and oil & gas sectors, among others.

Laia holds a Bachelor in Public Relations from the London College of Communication and a Master in Management with a Major in International Business from the IE Business School.

Jörg is an Operating Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners, having joined in 2023. He brings to the team over 20 years of combined Telecoms, M&A and investing experience.

Jörg held various senior management positions at Deutsche Telekom AG (DT), most recently Global Head of Mergers & Acquisitions where he led a significant number of Telecoms and Digital Infrastructure transactions to transform DT’s portfolio and unlock shareholder value. Previously he oversaw DT’s investments in T-Mobile Netherlands and GD Towers and was CFO of DT’s reporting segment US & Group Development. Prior to joining DT, Jörg worked in Private Equity and Investment Banking.

He holds a diploma in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim.

Carmen is an Analyst at Asterion Industrial Partners and joined in 2023. She has 4 years of investment banking experience.

Prior to joining AIP, Carmen worked at J.P. Morgan’s investment banking division in London, focusing on Iberian financial institutions. She started her career as an analyst in the investment banking division at Nomura, based in London.

Carmen holds a Double Bachelor Degree in International Business Management from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and Dublin City University (DCU).

Randall has been a Strategic Advisor to Asterion Industrial Partners since 2021 with a focus on Human Resources. He brings over 25 years of experience in Human Resources across financial services and private equity.

A dual national of the United Kingdom and United States, Randall started his career on Wall Street working for Merrill Lynch and subsequently Goldman Sachs within the banking sector. Following international positions in the United States, Japan, Australia, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, Randall moved into private equity in 2008.

He was the first Head of Human Resources for European private equity investor, Bridgepoint. Subsequently he was the first Head of Human Resources for the then newly established Business Growth Fund (BGF), a £2bn investment platform jointly funded by the largest banks in the United Kingdom. Randall holds a BA in Psychology and Communications from North Central College and attended Columbia University for a Masters in Industrial Psychology.

José is an Analyst at Asterion Industrial Partners. He has 4 years of experience in the financial services industry, both in investment banking and on the investment side.

Prior to joining AIP, Jose worked at Lazard in London focused on Telecommunications and Industrials. Before Lazard, José developed infrastructure expertise across his former experiences at Antin Infrastructure Partners and PJT Partners in London as well as at Rothschild & Co and KPMG in Lisbon.

José is a Portuguese national and also speaks fluent Spanish and English. Jose holds a Master in Finance degree from ESADE Business School and a Bachelor in Sciences from Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon.

Rocío is an analyst at Asterion Industrial Partners and joined in 2023. She has over three years of experience in the Compliance sector, especially in Anti Money Laundering prevention. Prior to AIP she worked for more than three years as a Governance, Risk and Compliance Auditor at PwC where she focused on Anti Money Laundering prevention external audits, suspicious activity reports and sanctions programs.

During her time at PwC, Rocio worked with several investment funds auditing AML systems and designing and implementing policies and procedures that comply with current AML legislation.

Rocío holds a Master of Laws by Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law by Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

Alberto is an Analyst at Asterion Industrial Partners and joined in 2023. He has 3 years of experience in the infrastructure and private equity industry.

Prior to joining AIP, Alberto worked at White Summit Capital focusing on investments and asset management in the infrastructure space (energy, transportation and decarbonisation).

Carlos is an Analyst at Asterion Industrial Partners and joined in 2023. Before joining AIP, he worked for 2 years as a Junior Investment Advisor at Cedrus&Partners.

During his time at Cedrus&Partners, Carlos was focused on alternative investments, advising both in the Private Equity and Infrastructure markets. He participated in the firm’s business development within the Iberian market, advising family offices, private banks and institutional investors in their alternative investments’ portfolios.

Carlos holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and has dual Spanish and French nationality.

Davide is an Analyst at Asterion Industrial Partners, having joined the firm in 2023. Before transitioning to AIP, he worked for 2 years in the TMT division at Mediobanca in Milan, gaining experience in various M&A transactions that bolstered his knowledge of the TLC infrastructure space and the technology sector at large.

David is a Member of the Investment Committee at Asterion Industrial Partners, having joined at inception in 2018. He brings 37 years of experience in the Energy space with a focus on renewables.

Prior to joining AIP, David was CEO of the Renewables business at Allianz Capital Partners, where he invested more than €4 billion in 80 wind and solar park assets in Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Austria, Finland and the US.

Formerly, he was Executive Vice President at Shell Wind Energy. Prior to that, David was Vice President of European Development at El Paso Energy and gained additional investment and operating experience holding different positions at Sithe Energies Europe and National Power. David graduated in Mechanical Engineering from University College London, is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and a FEANI-registered European Engineer. He is also a member of the Chartered Management Institute.

Ignacio is an Analyst at Asterion Industrial Partners and joined in 2023. He has 2 years of investment banking experience.

Prior to joining AIP, Ignacio was an Analyst at Morgan Stanley’s Real Estate Investment Banking practice in London. Ignacio holds a Bachelor and a Master in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICAI).

Beatriz joined Asterion Industrial Partners as an Executive Assistant in 2021 and became part of the Finance Department in June 2022. Prior joining AIP, Beatriz worked giving support in Audit and Legal Teams in Grant Thornton and Fieldfisher.

Alex has a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal and a Masters in Finance degree from London Business School.

Nicole is a Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners. She has 16 years of experience in the Energy & Utilities sector.

Prior to joining AIP at its inception, Nicole spent 10 years at Morgan Stanley Commodities and Trading, both in London and New York, focused on structured transactions in European Energy Origination and Power Origination for North America.

Nicole started her career as a trainee in the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London and Frankfurt. Nicole is a German national and holds an MBA from the Said Business School, Oxford University, a Masters in Political Sciences by the Munich School of Political Sciences and held her Studies of Law in Munich and Paris.

Ksenia is an Industrial Advisory Board member at Asterion Industrial Partners. She has over 25 years of experience in investment banking, most of which in the UBS Telecom, Media and Technology team with a focus on strategic and corporate finance advice (including among others, sector consolidation, monetisation of operations via M&A or capital markets). Ksenia has been involved in several landmark transactions in infrastructure, telecom and technology sectors throughout her career.
Ksenia holds a MSc/MBA in Banking and Finance from Stockholm University and Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and History from St. Petersburg Institute of Economics and Finance and St. Petersburg State University, respectively. In 2021, Ksenia was awarded the INSEAD Certificate in Corporate Governance.

Gianluca is an industrial Advisor at Asterion Industrial Partners. He has over 9 years of experience in European public equity investing with a specialization in shareholder engagement and activism.

Gianluca is the Founder of Clearway Capital, an engagement driven investment firm focused on sustainability and currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Retelit, one of AIP’s portfolio companies, and at Be Shaping the Future SpA, an IT Consulting firm listed in Milan.

Previously, he led activist investments for a large Frankfurt-based investment fund. Gianluca holds a degree in Economics & Business from LUISS University in Rome.

Vincent is an Associate at Asterion Industrial Partners and joined in 2022. He has 5 years of experience in the infrastructure and private equity industry. Prior to joining AIP, Vincent worked at Ancala Partners in London focusing on investments in the infrastructure sector (energy, telecoms, transportation, environment). Before Ancala, Vincent worked at Access Capital Partners in Paris and London focusing on infrastructure and fund-of-funds investments. Vincent is a French national and has a Master in Management from EDHEC Business School, as well as a Bachelor in Philosophy from University Paris-X.

Beatriz is the CFO at Asterion Industrial Partners. She has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining AIP, Beatriz was CFO of the Spanish Private Equity Fund Realza Capital and prior to that she worked at the Financial Department at Mercapital and Alantra in Madrid, with focus on their private equity vehicles.

Beatriz started her career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen in Madrid and as the Head of Administration in two Spanish SMEs. Beatriz holds a Business Administration Degree by the Universidad Complutense, Madrid and an Expert Course in Management and Direction of Geriatric & Seniors’ Centers by UNED.

Jesús is a Founding Partner and CEO at Asterion Industrial Partners. He is also member of the Investment Committee. Jesús has 39 years of experience in infrastructure, both in the corporate space and in the financial services industry.

Prior to founding AIP, Jesús was Global Co-Head of KKR Infrastructure & Member of KKR Infrastructure IC, where he developed the infrastructure practice for over 10 years since 2009.

He formerly was CEO of Endesa Europe and Managing Director of Corporate Development and Member of the Executive Committee of Endesa. During his time at Endesa, he led the company’s international expansion in Europe from 2000 to 2008, with investments in France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Turkey and Morocco.

Prior to that Jesús worked for Iberdrola and the Nuclear Fusion Institute in Madrid. Jesús holds an MBA by the Instituto de Empresa and an Executive Development Program by IESE. He holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales at Universidad Politécnica in Madrid. He has served as Board Member of several companies in the energy space in Spain, Italy, France, Morocco and Portugal.

Jorge is an Operating Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners. He brings to the team over 22 years of experience in the telecoms industry globally.

Jorge has held positions at Nortel Networks in the US, Hutchinson 3G in the UK, Telefónica O2 UK and Telefónica Europe, where he was Head of Technology and Competitive Strategy. Since 2014 he was Head of Infrastructure Transactions at Telefónica in Madrid.

He holds an MBA from Duke University and is a Telecommunications Engineer by Universidad Politécnica in Madrid.

Adrian is an Industrial Advisory Board member at Asterion Industrial Partners. He has over 25 years of infrastructure experience as Group CEO, having previously been CFO, of South Staffordshire Plc, an industry leading water company in the UK.

In his role, he oversaw the regulated water company and the non-regulated infrastructure maintenance and customer service businesses, for which combined revenues increased five fold to c£300m during his tenure.

Adrian was successfully involved in five regulatory reviews with Ofwat (the Water Services Regulation Authority in the UK), the CMA approval for the acquisition of Cambridge Water, over 20 value accretive non-regulated acquisitions, bond and bank debt issuance, refinancing, a public demerger and take private transactions.

Formerly, Adrian was at ACT Group, a software and services business, and KPMG. He is a Charted Accountant and has a BSc in Business Finance & Economics at the University of East Anglia.

Luca is an Operating Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners, having joined in 2021. He is also CFO of Energy Assets Group (portfolio company of Asterion Fund I). He has over 23 years of industrial experience in the energy sector, of which 16 years serving as a Chief Financial Officer of global energy companies and Sovereign Wealth Funds in Europe, Russia and Middle East.

Prior to joining EAG, Luca was the Group CFO of Nebras Power, a Qatar-based, State-owned global energy company managing a 6.5 GW portfolio of strategic investments in power and renewable energy assets across Middle East, Europe, Africa, South East Asia, Australia and South America. In Nebras Power Luca played a pivotal role in the business start-up and development and execution of the company’s internationalization strategy, driving a two-fold growth in asset base and international diversification across 8 Countries. Before joining Nebras Power Luca was Senior Vice President & CFO of the Global Power & Water Business of publicly listed TAQA in Abu Dhabi. Previously he served as CFO and Deputy CEO of Enel in Russia as well as Deputy CFO of the European business of Endesa in the early to mid-2000’s.

Luca has gained a significant experience in cross-border M&A and has successfully executed transactions in the energy and infrastructure space for a combined value of U$D 3.5B+. He has also gained a proven track record in capital structuring strategies, fund raising and debt management with exposure to multiple financing structures and with more than U$D 11B of debt raised across bank and debt capital markets, including U$D 6.5B of award-winning international project financing.

Luca’s global executive career is complemented by board level assignments as independent non-executive director of sovereign wealth funds, national power grid companies, national energy holdings and global smart grid companies.

Luca holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics with honors from L. Bocconi University of Milan, Italy and a Global Executive MBA from the I.E. Business School of Madrid, Spain. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Director from the U.K. Institute of Directors (C IoD).

Irene is an Operation Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners. Her professional career in energy and utilities extends over 20 years, combining industrial, financial, and investing experience. She recently served as Managing Director, at Macquarie’s Asset Management group in Europe, and previously as Senior Vice President at Thesis Energy and Managing Director, Head of EMEA, Electricity, Coal, Gas and Emissions at Morgan Stanley. She started her career working for Endesa and has been a Non-Executive Director with Italy’s Hydro Dolomiti Energia, Spain’s Exolum and Romania’s Cez Vanzare.

Irene received both a Master’s degree and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Madrid’s Universidad Pontificia Comillas.

Ignacio is an Associate at Asterion Industrial Partners. He has 6 years of experience in the financial services industry, both in investment banking and on the investment side.

Prior to joining AIP, Ignacio worked at Wren House Infrastructure in London and at Advent International in Lima pursuing private equity investments. Before Advent, he worked in the investment banking division at BTG Pactual and at Scotiabank, both in Lima and focusing on M&A. Ignacio is a dual Peruvian and German national and has an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacifico in Lima.

Jakob is an Industrial Advisory Board member at Asterion Industrial Partners. He is a co-Founding Partner at Njord Partners, a Special Situations Fund which provides long term flexible capital solutions to companies in the European mid-market.

Formerly, Jakob was a Telecoms Director at KKR and a member of the KKR Infrastructure Europe team. He started his career in Investment Banking at JP Morgan

Sonia is an Industrial Advisory Board member at Asterion Industrial Partners. She is a Member at the Scottish Government Task Force for Consumers and Markets, as well as an Executive Director of UK Regulatory Policy and Public Affairs at Visa Europe.

Formerly, Sonia was Chief Regulation Officer at Ofwat, Chief Economist at Monitor and Director of European Strategy at Ofgem.

Matteo joined Asterion Industrial Partners as Analyst in 2021. He has 5 years of experience in both the financial services industry and in the non-profit sector. Prior to joining Asterion he worked as a Finance Analyst at Arcano Partners in Madrid, supporting the corporate finance area.

Matteo is an Italian national and holds a Bachelor in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Quantitative Economics both from Ca’ Foscari University in Italy.

Carmen joined Asterion Industrial Partners in 2022 as Associate within the legal team. She is a lawyer qualified to practice in Spain and is also a Solicitor of England and Wales.

Prior to joining AIP, she was an M&A Associate at Clifford Chance, where she spent close to 4 and a half years. She holds a Double Master in Access to the Legal Profession and Business Law from the University of Navarra and a Double Degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid.

Arantxa is the Chief Administrator & Compliance Officer at Asterion Industrial Partners. She has over 25 years of experience, of which 15 years of experience in the management of international professional services firms, supervising all administrative departments including Human Resources, Operations, Finance, IT and Legal Compliance.

Before joining AIP at its inception, Arantxa was a Senior Advisory Consultant and advised US financial services firm Greenhill & Co. International with their set up in Spain.

Prior to that, she spent c. 10 years at Latham & Watkins as Director of Operations for the Spanish Offices (Madrid & Barcelona) where she also held the position of AML Officer. She started her career as a Consultant at PWC Consulting (now IBM Consulting). Arantxa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration by Suffolk University in Boston and she is an internationally certified compliance professional awarded by the International Federation of Compliance Associations, as well as ASCOM (Spanish Compliance Association). She has also completed the Executive Program Leading Professional Services Firms at Harvard Business School, and in 2016 she completed an advanced program in Compliance at Instituto de Empresa.

Manuela is the General Counsel at Asterion Industrial Partners. She has over 10 years of experience and worked at top international law firms in Madrid, London, Paris and Brussels, and is a member of both the New York and Madrid Bar.

Prior to joining AIP at its inception, Manuela was Corporate Managing Associate at Linklaters in Madrid, where she represented national and international financial investors and corporates in M&A deals.

Before that, she was an M&A and Capital Markets Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, based in London. Manuela also has professional experience at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, in Madrid, Clifford Chance, in Paris and Clearly Gottlieb Steen&Hamilton, in Brussels. She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) by Columbia University where she was a James Kent Scholar, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Diploma in International Relations by the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid.

Gonzalo is an Associate at Asterion Industrial Partners. He has 7 years of experience in the industry, both in strategy consulting and on the investment side.

Prior to joining AIP he was an Associate at Partners Group in London where he was part of the Private Equity Direct Investments team. He started his career as an Associate at Boston Consulting Group in Madrid. Coming from the strategy consulting area and having worked in multiple sectors including energy, he brings additional experience to the team on the financial and operational side.

Gonzalo has an MBA from the London Business School and a Bachelor in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICAI).

William is a Principal at Asterion Industrial Partners. He has 9 years of experience in the financial services industry, both in investment banking and on the investment side, including 5 years of investing experience with a focus on power and energy.

Prior to joining AIP he was an investment associate at First Reserve in London. He started his career as an analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs, focused on M&A Latin American coverage and based in New York. William has an M.B.A. from the London Business School and a Bachelor in Economics by the Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires.

Mónica is a Principal at Asterion Industrial Partners. She has 8 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining AIP she was an Associate at Alantra Partners, where she spent 4 years in the Strategy, Corporate Development & Investor Relations department, based in Madrid. Mónica started her career as an intern at UBS Equities Division in Madrid. She has a Bachelor in Business Administration by the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid and completed an exchange program at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Kenan-Flagler Business School).

Amaro is a Principal at Asterion Industrial Partners. He has 8 years of experience in the financial services industry, both in investment banking and on the investment side, including 6 years of infrastructure experience.

Prior to joining AIP he was investment analyst at UK’s pension scheme USS Investment Management in London. He was part of the Private Markets Group and focused on energy & utilities and mobility. He started his career as an analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Citigroup, focused on M&A Iberian coverage and based in Madrid. Amaro has a Bachelor in Business Administration by the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid.

Derek is an Operating Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners, having joined in 2021. He brings to the team over 35 years of industrial experience in the telecoms sector, having worked at BT/ Cellnet and O2 / Telefonica in senior management positions as well as holding non-executive board roles in a number of telecoms infrastructure and digital platforms in the UK. During his time at Telefonica UK (O2), he served as the Chief Information / Technology Officer and latterly as Chief Operating Officer of the £12bn EV group.

In his decade long role as COO, he led a team of 2,500 professionals with responsibility for Network, IT, Customer Service, Business Transformation, 5G, B2B Service Management and Customer Operations, Corporate Fraud & Security, Supply Chain and Property. This included among others the oversight of an important cross industry initiative to increase collaboration and engagement with government and the regulator, driving policy change to increase mobile connectivity across rural UK in support of 5G, the delivery of major initiatives such as network rollout, growth and the government’s Smart Metering initiative. He also served as the chairman of CTIL, Telefonica’s network sharing JV with Vodafone, Enterprise Customer Advisory Board and the retailer Shop Direct’s Digital Advisory Board.

Derek holds a MSc in Telecom Business from University College London.

Francisco is an Operating Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners. He joined the team in 2021 with over three decades of industrial experience, having previously worked at Cintra –  Ferrovial and Capital Energy, in senior management and board positions.

During his time at Cintra, he was CFO for close to 20 years until 2020, and he oversaw the financing of over 115 projects for the group in excess of €59bn internationally (among others the privatization of 407ETR, and the acquisition of BAA), as well as the IPO of the business in 2004. He held board positions in a number of Cintra’s subsidiaries during that time, with a particular focus on overseeing the many transportation assets of the group. Prior to that he was CFO at Ferrovial Infraestructuras. Francisco holds an MBA from IE Business School and a Degree in Economics by Universidad Complutense (Madrid).

Beatriz is an Operating Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners. She brings to the team over 19 years of experience in the energy industry globally.

Beatriz joined the wider Asterion team in May 2019 in her capacity as the General Manager of Asterion Energies, Asterion Fund I renewables platform. Prior to Asterion, Beatriz was part of the Energy Transaction advisory group at G-Advisory, a dedicated renewables and energy advisory company in Spain that belong to Garrigues Group. During the course of 16 years, she advised on 200 transactions worldwide, with >€20bn of transaction value across a total of >15GW.

Beatriz holds a master in corporate finance from Garrigues Studies Center, a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICAI), and a bachelor in Business Administration by the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED).

Roberta is an Operating Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners, having joined at inception as a member of Asterion’s Industrial Advisory Board.

Roberta brings to the team 32 years of experience and she previously was CEO of ENAV, the Italian Air Navigation Services Provider, where she managed the IPO process of the company on the Italian Stock Exchange, the first in the sector worldwide.

Roberta is also founder and Board Member of Byom, a consulting firm focused on advising investment funds and companies operating in the industrial, energy and infrastructure spaces. She formerly was CFO of Italian utility company ACEA S.p.A. Roberta began her career at Italsiel SpA and graduated in Business and Economics at La Sapienza University in Rome.

Antonio is an Operating Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners. He brings to the team 32 years of experience in the Energy space in Europe.

Antonio is the founder and CEO of Haya Energy Solutions, a specialized consulting firm focused on the energy sector and based in Paris, which has developed M&A projects in renewable and conventional power generation, cogeneration, district heating, gas and power retail, energy procurement and power optimization in France, Spain, Portugal, Germany and Ireland.

Prior to this Antonio was CEO of KKR’s CELEST Power in France (2x410MW CCGT). Previously he was also CEO of Endesa France and General Secretary, Strategy & Corporate Development Director at E.ON France. Formerly, he held different positions at Endesa, including Responsible for M&A at Endesa Europe and Regulation Specialist at Endesa Distribution. Antonio holds an MBA from Deusto University and a Degree in Industrial Engineering by the Engineering School at Seville.

Bice is a Senior Director at Asterion Industrial Partners. She has 16 years of experience in the financial industry focused on Energy and Infrastructure.

Prior to joining AIP, Bice was Head of M&A at Building Energy SpA in Milan and prior to that she spent 6 years at Brookfield Asset Management, working on investments in energy, utilities, transport, and telecom, both in London and Madrid.

Bice started her career in Investment Banking for several years, first at Deutsche Bank and after at Goldman Sachs, focusing on Energy. Bice is an Italian national and holds an MSc in Applicable Mathematics from London School of Economics and a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Business Finance from Brunel University.

Sebastián is a Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners, having joined Asterion at inception in 2018, as a Senior Director. He brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and networking in Telecommunications through a 26-year career across investing, M&A and industry positions.

Prior to joining AIP, Sebastián was Group Head of Strategy & Alliances at Telefónica, where, from 2012, he initially led Strategy and was a member of the Executive Committee of Telefónica Latinoamérica, based in Sao Paulo.

Formerly, Sebastián was an Executive Director within the Investment Banking divisions of Nomura & Lehman Brothers, focused on European Telecoms, Media & Technology M&A, based in London. Previously, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Norges Bank Investment Management, the Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Fund, where he ran a Global Telecommunications Portfolio, based in London. Sebastián is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a M.Sc. in Telecommunication Engineering by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros at Universidad de Sevilla. He has served as Board Member of several companies in the telecommunications space in Spain and Latin America.

Guido is a Founding Partner and member of the Investment Committee at Asterion Industrial Partners. He has 17 years of experience in the financial services industry with focus on infrastructure during the last 12 years.

Prior to founding AIP, Guido was a Director at KKR Infrastructure, where he gained experience across 11 transactions, investing €4.5bn in Europe during the 8 years he spent here.

Formerly Guido was an associate at Goldman Sachs where he was involved in a broad range of mergers, acquisitions and financings across various industries based in London, New York and Buenos Aires. Guido holds a BA, magna cum laude, in Business Administration, from Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires. In the past he has served as board member in various companies in the infrastructure space in Europe.

Winnie is a Founding Partner and member of the Investment Committee at Asterion Industrial Partners. She has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector and infrastructure.

Prior to founding AIP, Winnie was a Director at KKR Client & Partner Group Europe, where she spent close to 10 years. She was the product specialist for Infrastructure & Private Equity in Europe, responsible for the strategic positioning of the funds as well as helping to drive the co-investment process for the specific deals. She also oversaw the capital raising efforts in several European markets across the entire KKR product range with specific focus on Private Equity and Infrastructure.

Formerly Winnie worked for JP Morgan as a Telecoms Analyst and in Specialist Sales for European Equities, covering the pan-European Telecoms universe. Winnie held her studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Julia is an Associate at Asterion Industrial Partners. She has 7 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure space, both in investment banking and on the investment side.

Prior to joining AIP, Julia was a senior investment associate at AMP Capital in London, focusing on origination, transaction execution, and asset management activities across the mobility, energy, and telecommunication sectors. She started her career as an investment banking analyst within Société Générale’s M&A group in London.

Julia is a French national and holds a Master in Management and a Master of Science in Risk & Investment Management from EDHEC Business School.

Carmen is Executive Assistant at Asterion Industrial Partners and responsible for the Office Management. Prior joining AIP at its inception, Carmen was Executive Assistant at the Real Estate Fund Aermont Capital, based in Madrid.

Formerly she has worked as an assistant at top Spanish and UK law firms Garrigues and Ashurst, based in Madrid. Carmen holds a Business Administration Degree from New College Durham, a Bilingual Executive Assistant Degree from St Charles College and a Marketing degree from Francisco de Vitoria University.
