Asterion releases its 2025 ESG Report: advancing practical, value-driven sustainability

We are pleased to share Asterion’s 2025 ESG Report, outlining the progress made across the firm and portfolio over the past year. The report reflects our continued commitment to integrating ESG in a practical, value-oriented way across the investment lifecycle.

At Asterion, ESG is not a standalone objective. It is part of how we assess risk, support resilience and strengthen long-term value creation across critical infrastructure.

Three highlights from this year’s report:

  • All three Asterion funds are now classified as Article 8 under SFDR, reinforcing consistency in how environmental and social characteristics are embedded across the platform.
  • 100% of portfolio companies now measure Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, and 77% already measure Scope 3, reflecting continued progress in carbon management maturity across the platform.
  • The portfolio delivered 1,992 GWh of renewable energy production, 982 MW of installed capacity and 75,274 tCO₂e of avoided emissions in 2025.

“Our 2025 ESG Report reflects Asterion’s practical approach to responsible investment — strengthening governance, improving data quality and supporting measurable progress across the firm and portfolio.”
Jorge Sanchez, Asterion ESG Manager
